All our staff come from West Cumbria and we are proud of the skilled workforce we have developed over the years. We offer clients vast experience, providing quality workmanship with total reliability.

 

Nothing is more important to West Coast Thermal than the health, safety and welfare of our employees - that’s why there is a strong culture of on the job training, with both asbestos and thermal insulation specialists undertaking refresher courses and training to work at heights.  

 

 

Training and apprenticeships

 

All our insulation operatives carry CSCS cards, have safety passports and are qualified to work at heights with mobile scaffolds, scissor lifts and cherry pickers.

 

We are members of TICA (Thermal Insulation Contractors Association) and CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) and are pleased to enroll new insulation apprentices each year.  

 

The apprentices attend college in Darlington over a three year period and will eventually become fully qualified Thermal Insulation Engineers. We take a pride in the way we conduct ourselves, management and the workforce, from tender stage of a project right through to final handover.
