West Coast Surveys was formed in 2003 to focus on the growing demand for asbestos surveys and was created by the founding directors of West Coast Thermal - the asbestos removal and thermal insulation specialists.

 

West Coast Surveys provides a professional asbestos consultancy service for local councils, housing associations, hospitals and major building clients.

 

Professional, qualified asbestos surveyors

Asbestos Surveys must be carried out in accordance with the guidelines set out in  "Asbestos: The Survey Guide" HSG 264 published in January 2010, which details Surveying, Sampling and Assessment of Asbestos Containing Material (ACM).

 

West Coast Surveys Asbestos Surveyors hold a P402 Certificate in Building Surveys & Bulk Sampling issued by the British Institute of Occupational Hygienists (BIOH).

 

To ensure complete objectivity, all suspected asbestos samples are analyzed by an independent by an independent UKAS accredited Laboratory.

 

The nature of this work demands that excellent quality management systems are in place and a strong health and safety ethos exists. Good practice is followed and staff remain discrete and respectful at all times.

 

During the last three years, West Coast Surveys has carried out 100’s of Asbestos Surveys to Cumbrian schools, fire stations, libraries, corporate buildings and other local government buildings on behalf of Cumbria County Council.

 

All WCT directors have a wealth of experience in carrying out all types of asbestos surveys and ALL West Coast Surveys Asbestos Surveyors hold a P402 Certificate in Building Surveys & Bulk Sampling issued by the British Institute of Occupational Hygienists (BIOH).
